A Light at Mid-Night
Every night I see a light,
In dark it shines bright,
I wondered is it a star shining,
Or an artificial foresight,
I saw it growing daily,
Brighter and brighter every valley,
Only I could see it,
Does it really exist?
I thought it to be my inner fire,
My dreams or my suppressed desires,
Then suddenly I woke up at mid-night,
Saw the light again burning bright,
It was flashing from blue, yellow, red and green,
Giving me a solid migraine,
I thought day and night,
Looking for an answer woke up whole next night,
Saw it again near my neighbour’s window,
Was rubbing my eyes to see the truth,
Woke up in the morning wondering,
Did I really see a light? Burning bright,
A shooting star, an alien attack,
What it was i can never bet,
The minute I told my sister,
Was sure I won’t see that ever again,
It happened, was not surprised,
I still wonder did I ever saw that light,
But sometimes I still see those sparks burning bright,
Every mid –night shines a bright light.
