This is it!

And she had her favorite drink. This is it!

How she even prepared it?
She made the dough first. It was prepared with wheat, water, some salt, and sugar too.

She evermore wanted to have it, but today her craving became unpredictable. She started preparing those crisp and crunchy golgappas with sweet & spicy water, the magical water of relief.
Even without any alcoholic content, it gave her the intended high. She was gazing forward to it.

The oil in the frying pan was just right for the little round poories. She made the reasonable circles of the prepared dough, small and round. Annanya wanted to have a couple of those little ones before the last sign of relief.

Golgappas puffed perfectly, and she flipped them to cook for the perfect night.
The crowded open pan was soon stuffed with even more round poories. She kept adding more than she could take out from the frying pan.

Potatoes were also boiled along with chickpeas to be added to the golgappas. It has green chutney in one corner and boiled potatoes with chickpeas in another. Golgappas were placed in the middle.

Annanya started working on her magic portion, her favorite drink. She prepared the spicy water mixed with salt, sugar, green chili, cumin powder, asafoetida powder, mint, and her secret ingredient.

The dining table had candle lights. Just the right light in the massive room filled with antique furniture. The glass top of the table was reflecting the candle lights and it was about midnight. Yes, mid-night. She kept the platter on the table and went inside to get ready for the big night.

Annanya was looking exceptionally beautiful that night. She came out looking radiant. That little black dress, glossy lips, her hair covering her swollen eyelids and that smile, suspicious. She started having golgappas.

She enjoyed each golgappa sitting alone at the table. She had the last one with the portion right. A pinch of poison was what she added.

And it was her favorite drink. This is it!!

We Are Broken But We Still Glimmer

We Are Broken But We Still Glimmer

We have been cursed by the lord,
I know I can never meet you again,
I rise each night to escort you around,
You are nowhere to found,

I know you'll not be there my dear,
But each night I rise in fear,
My life is utterly lonely without you,
Oh Lord, comfort the path through

Each evening you leave your mark,
And each night I embrace your spark,
I spread the glimmer of your love,
So all hearts may melt as a dove,

Come someday and meet me,
When there will not be us three
This earth shall be dissolved
So our love for each other evolve,

And we can unite into one
Oh you brightest star, my Sun,
The curse on our love will end one day
I wish he heard us pray,

I have to rise from where you set,
I wish we end this debt,
Or I will never be able to see you,
We keep moving in the sky blue,

Drench in tears of your love,
I sometimes don't rise
Then with the hope, I radiate again
As I don't want you to solely suffer in pain

Oh Sun, I will rise once you'll fall
And then I'll rise tall,
Life is long and immortal
I will make this curse quartal,

Moving separately is a strain
Till me meet again
Till I see you again
Let the earth rain

I can rise only after you set,
You can rise only after I set,
Our sacrifice should not be forgotten,
By these humans rotten.

And we can meet when no one will see us leaving our defined paths!
Some day, Some Night! When they’ll sleep, we will meet!
