How to tie my shoes: A small poem expressing a young boy’s plight who has lost his mother and now on his own misses her when it comes to shoe laces as he used to get ready for School himself but tying laces was always an issue and it still is....

                           How to tie my shoes:

Your hand and my laces
Made me cross many faces
But no one can still teach me
How to tie a shoe laces?

My fingers get confused
I look at hundred faces, I can't find you
No similar smiles
I tried looking thousands miles

As I kid, I missed the learning
That has become my burning
It’s now my turning
How to tie a shoe laces?

The knots unfold a mystery
Reminds me of history
When you were here to protect
After you I was the point of neglect

The knots confuse me,
The laces fuse me
And no one can teach me
How to tie a shoe laces?

I miss your fingers tangled in my lace
Life is on run and I have to race
But they are a maze
Which still keep me amaze?

Now I guess I know how to tie
But I wish you were her to stop me cry
Your arms, your eyes are memories
They are the only treasuries

Though you will be with me always
But the laces will remind me of you

Miss you....
